As part of the Big Science Read, there will be a weekend of events on the 25-26 October 2008 to explore the interaction between science, reading and literature. 

There is also a series of events across Greater Manchester libraries, and a Martin Amis public event in December in association with the Centre for New Writing at The University of Manchester.
